Dorothy Lane Market, like many American food stores, began as a fruit stand. In 1948 founder Calvin Mayne began selling quality fruits and vegetables in the south Dayton, Ohio area at the corner of Far Hills Avenue and Dorothy Lane (hence the name of the market, or DLM for short). Calvin loved good food, and wanted his customers to enjoy the same. Fast forward to today, and Dorothy Lane Market is a company of three well-known gourmet supermarkets, recognized for great food and service in national publications including The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, and Gourmet Retailer. More importantly, our customers know they can have a great food experience every time they come to our stores! For over fifty years, the passion for eating well has not only stayed a constant at Dorothy Lane Market, it continues to grow.

The Padow family has a long tradition in the deli, grocery and ham business. In 1936, George Padow opened his first grocery and retail outlet in the historic Jackson Ward area of Richmond, Virginia. The Company quickly became a household name and established its reputation as a purveyor of delicious quality hams and meats at reasonable prices; a tradition the family has maintained for over sixty years.

We’re a family owned and operated store in Krebs, Oklahoma, famous throughout the state and beyond for our mild, lightly smoked sausage, handmade caciocavallo style cheese, and other Italian favorites. Our grandparents arrived in Krebs in 1907 – the same year Oklahoma became the 46th state – with the desire for a better life and a really good sausage recipe. Our original store, Mike’s Grocery and Meat Market, was opened in 1946 by our parents. We've been serving Oklahomans every since with our very own brand of friendly service and great foods. Our online store has been bringing authentic, homemade Italian foods to customers all over the world since 1998.
