Parkers Maple Barn has been a family establishment since the late 1960`s. It began with nothing more than a small Sugar House by the original Parker family and has grown to become a very popular country restaurant serving hearty breakfasts and lunch. The Corn-Crib gift shop features all of our maple products along with many unique gifts like our maple syrup gift baskets and maple syrup tins. The Sugar House still produces maple syrup following the old tradition of wood-fired evaporators.

During our recent visit to
During our recent visit to Parkers maple barn, we toured the evaporator barn and quite enjoyed that.
When it came time for our name to be called, (an hour and a half later) we waiting outside. 1.45 hours from putting our name in, our name was called but we were not to be seated. We were accidentally skipped over and they wanted to know if we would agree to be split up at different tables.
That was denied.
We waited 2 hours and 25 minutes to be seated.
We will never go back. What a shame.
dining on february 28,2009
this was my birthday, and we have not been to parker's maple barn in years, so we were very excited.
however the dinner was pretty disappointing.
i had the barbequed ribs(asked for the maple ribs i had been waiting for!) the portion was somewhat small and the meat a bit dry. the waitress was new and trying hard, but did not bring me the maple ribs, a great disapointment. also ,i was told beans cames with the meal, but were never delivered. the ribs/fries/cole slaw were small for portions. i did not complain, the meal was still "ok".
my fiance' had the haddock which was nothing special and again not a large portion by any means.
mom had the roast beef, which was flooded with too much gravy and was luke warm.i tasted the beef and was not impressed.
summary-we picked parker's for my birthday and it was ok at best. we were all disappointed and will not be rushing to come back.
i hope their breakfast is still very good, but it makes me wonder.

Your Place is Really Special
We want you to know how happy we are Parkers is still open, and family owned.
Everywhere I go and wear your tee shirt I get comments about how much people love Parkers.
Please do not ever let it close. It is a heritage your kids should be proud of and want to carry on for their children also.

Thrilled at everything!
Great atmosphere - - it`s a real barn! Great food and excellent service. While your there, check out the maple sugar making house, the gift shop and after your meal, park yourself in the comfortable rustic cedar furniture and take a nap.
